Actress, singer and drummer Lucie Vondráčková celebrated her 42nd birthday on Tuesday. In an interview on Thursday with Nova, she explained how she celebrated her birthday. She also revealed what she is planning for this year.

But you can’t talk about a big party. “I find it completely inadequate to celebrate a birthday. The time is so sad and shocking that we are not entitled to celebrations,” Vondráčková said. Instead of celebrating, she spent the day working.
But now Vondráčková is devoting more time to work. According to his own words, he rides on three fronts. He intends to be most involved in dubbing, especially reading audiobooks. “I really like it when more actors read audiobooks, as if it were a theater. I think there are very few of them being done lately,” admitted Vondráčková. She focuses on this type of audiobook.
But that doesn’t mean shifting acting and music to the sidelines. In December, she released a new album Love, for which she will still shoot video clips. “With so many things at once, you may burn out. Even if you enjoy it. So I’m careful about this,” Vondráčková said.
He is also expanding his acting career abroad. She recently worked with Czech-German screenwriter Tereza Hirsch on an English-speaking film. In it, he plays a character dealing with trauma. Although it was a depressing role, Vondráčková enjoyed it. According to her, this is a very interesting role for the actress.
But the singer does not plan too far into the future. “My approach to planning has changed in the last two years. Now I’m improvising, sailing downstream and letting things float at my own pace. Maybe it’s the age to calm down,” Vondráčková concluded.
