Another guest of Ivan Dlaska in the program From the archive of personalities is member of the National Theatre, actress and voice actor Lucie Juřičková.
Lucie Juřičková comes from an artistic family. She was born in Pilsen, where her father František Juřička worked as a radio director. After 1968, he was persecuted for his civic attitudes and active activities and ended up as a political prisoner. Lucie Juřičková’s mother, Marie Grafnetterová, was a long-time star of the operetta troupe of the JK Tyl Theater in Pilsen. Lucie already sang in the choir of the Pilsen Opera as a child, and in addition to her parents, she also had a role model for her future direction in her older brother Tomáš Juřiček.
She studied music and drama at the State Conservatory in Prague and even as a student played minor girl roles. After graduating from the conservatory, she got her first engagement at the Jiří Wolker Theater in Prague, from 1988 to 1991 she was engaged at the JK Tyla Theater in Pilsen, initially in operetta, later in drama. In 1992, she accepted a job at the Theater in Vinohrady, and since the 2015/2016 season she has been a member of the ensemble of Dramas of the National Theater in Prague.
In addition to theater, Lucie Juřičková devotes herself to dubbing. She voiced dozens of characters in foreign films and series. Michelle Pfeiffer, Sharon Stone, Diane Keaton or Renée Zellweger, for example, speak in her voice.
