One of the most charming presenters on the Czech television scene, Lucie Borhyová, is inextricably linked to Nova television. She has been hosting television news since 1999, six years later she also became the face of Víkend magazine. Much younger, but no less interesting, is her collaboration with the French car manufacturer DS.
It (and not only) still raises a number of curious questions on the Czech market. A lot of our people have to think a lot when looking at the car company’s logo in order to be able to place the “dé-ace”. “What kind of car is this?” we heard more than once when we parked a French test car somewhere. Many motorists certainly remember DS as a luxury offshoot of Citroën, after all, the automotive history of these two letters dates back to 1955. However, since 2014, DS has been an independent brand with unique models, the number of which is constantly growing, and individual products are supposed to be the answer to, for example, cars German premium trio.
The newest addition to Lucie Borhyová’s fleet is the DS 7 E-Tense in rich Opera equipment. Inside, there is a plug-in hybrid drive connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The car can cover several tens of kilometers on electricity alone, and when Lucie needs to speed up her way to a shoot, she has a system output of 300 horsepower at her disposal.

The photo shoot took place in the Barrandov studios, the presenter is delighted with the result… and so are we!
Primarily, however, the presenter on her snow-white car, which was configured exactly according to her requirements, appreciates its exceptionality. “I like things that not only have a function, but also something extra. That’s why DS suits me with its story, innovative design, comfort and, above all, French charm,” revealed the presenter.
Lucka can enjoy a really high level of comfort behind the wheel. On board, it is pampered by upholstery in Nappa leather, heated and ventilated front seats or a multimedia system with built-in navigation and a rear parking camera. When driving at night, pixel DS LED headlights and the car’s designer 20-inch wheels are available.

Since DS focuses primarily on innovative design, it is not surprising that as part of Lucie’s collaboration with the brand, a stylish photo shoot was created, which was taken care of by art photographer Jaroslav Urban. He himself says that he is inspired by Jan Saudek or Helmut Newton. Celebrities from the fields of film, theater and music often appear in his pictures.
“We took photos on Barrandova at sunset and at night in a very dreamlike atmosphere. This time it was completely different from what I’m used to, and I’m thrilled with the result.
