Spalletti said in his remarks: “I am currently on a special vacation. Yes, I received an offer from Saudi Arabia, but my current decision is not to work with any club until the end of this year.
The 64-year-old Italian led the Napoli team to achieve a historic achievement last season by winning the “Calcio” title for the first time in 33 years, but he preferred to resign immediately after the tournament, stressing that he would need a rest after a hard season, which he played with the southern club.
Spalletti has previously coached many Italian clubs, including Empoli, Sampdoria, Udinese, Inter Milan, and Roma, with whom he won two titles in the local cup, and a title in the “Italian Super,” in addition to winning the Russian League with Zenit St. Petersburg in 2010 and 2012.
