Luci d’Artista, in Salerno here is the money with the “plan B”

The battle with the government on the provision of Cohesion and Development Funds could have an impact on the downsizing of festivals and concerts (even important ones such as “Estate da re”) but certainly cannot stop the next edition of Artist Lights. Because if other events remain pending while waiting for the end of the tug of war between the president of the Campania, Vincenzo DeLucaand the executive representatives, the money for the light festival has been found and has also been budgeted.

The resources

The two million destined for the Municipality of Salerno led by the mayor Vincenzo Napoli for the light event of next winter, in fact, they have been included in the resolution of the council of St. Lucia Palace concerning the “Fund aimed at supporting initiatives by local authorities and bodies managing monumental assets aimed at ensuring adequate lighting”. In practice, the artistic illuminations of the Salerno winter have been considered part of a more general plan that is aimed at increasing safety in the historic centers by enhancing the monuments with dedicated lighting that enhances the asset.
