Juventus are reportedly considering a surprise transfer move for West Ham United midfielder Lucas Paquetá.
Apparently, the Brazilian international was on Juve’s radar in the summer and it seems they are still interested in the player, who eventually ended up moving from Lyon to West Ham.
This is what the Italian media report. A move to Paquetá would likely require the sale of other midfielders such as Adrien Rabiot and Weston McKennie.
Paquetá has been a bit inconsistent at West Ham so far, but he has shown some real quality moments and one imagines the club won’t be willing to lose him so soon.
The 25-year-old is currently shining for Brazil at the World Cup, so it seems unlikely anything to do with his future will be resolved just yet.
However, this is something the Hammers should think about, while Paquetá himself could also be in favor of a move to a big name like Juve and the possibility of playing in a different league that might be more suited to his style of play . .
