The winger Lucas Mugni, ex-Sport and Flamengo, was hired by the Turkish team of Superlig Gençlerbirligi, from the capital Ankara.

The Santa Fe arrived at no cost to the club, since he has been without a contract since 2020, when his relationship with Sport ended. The announcement was made on the player’s agency’s Instagram, Domenica Sports, and the team will make it official soon.
The athlete left Sport with the end of his contract on December 31. Lucas chose not to renew with Leão until the end of the Brazilian Championship, amid the accumulation of the club’s debts with the player.
At Sport, Lucas played 32 games scoring two goals and distributing three assists. The midfielder won the absolute title under the command of Jair Ventura, who praised his versatility in the creative sector of the team, which today suffers to score goals.
It is worth remembering that Lucas Mugni played in Argentina in Colón, Newell’s and Lanús de Buenos Aires.
