Lucas De Vincenzi 35th winner of the Tour des Landes

Lucas De Vincenzi winner of a very fast Landes tour, 299 kilometers traveled at 44.796 km/h!!!

The 35th Tour des Landes classified Elite National finished brilliantly in Geaune this Sunday August 27th.

Aire sur l’Adour, Tartas, Geaune, the stage towns had pulled out all the stops to welcome runners and supervisors from the 21 teams of 6 runners present.

The many activities deployed around the finish lines were able to unite a large audience around the magnificent army podium.

At the end of the 3 days the partners were satisfied ready to start again for a 36th edition!!!

Bastien Lamude, president of the Comité des Landes de Cyclisme FFC, behind the elite classification of the event and organizer with the Landais clubs, received a well-deserved success.

A very fast event despite the reliefs of Chalosse and Tursan, 44.796 km/h for the 299 kilometers!!!

The prologue disputed over 2,200 kilometers in the evening just before nightfall in the streets of Aire sur l’Adour found in Farley Barber, the Englishman from UC Cholet 49, an ultra-fast winner (49.597 Km/h) despite the many reminders.

The last part of the race contested between Tartas and Geaune over 149 kilometers and 2200 meters of elevation gain received a guest in the presence of a violent downpour accompanied by gusts during the last 50 kilometers.

At the end of a slightly uphill sprint, Luca De Vincenzi (OCF Team Legend Wheels) beat his runaway companions to win and put his name on the list of winners for the event, just a second ahead of Sébastien Havot.
