Lucas Chevalier Shines as Man of the Match for LOSC Victory Against Nantes

In two stages, LOSC managed to win against Nantes, with two penalties as a trigger. Besides the offensive aspect, one man prevented a worse scenario: Lucas Chevalier. By his saves and his ease, the result is partly due to him. It’s the seventh time this season that you’ve voted him man of the match.

Lucas Chevalier confirms his status

The praise for his season is numerous, which is easily understood. A real revelation in the cages of the Mastiffs, Chevalier never ceases to impress. So much so that he ended up among the five nominated for the Ligue 1 best goalkeeper trophy at the UNFP Trophies. During the reception of Nantes, the porter Lille has been called upon a few times. Above all, his saves made the difference, like his reflex parade against Ignatius Ganago, saving before half-time. Also, at the very end of the game, his tap on a Nantes strike sealed the victory, difficult to glean until the end. No doubt a large part of the three points is his doing.

This full and solid performance earned him the distinction of the match and most of the votes. With 46% of the vote, he easily beats Jonathan David (25 %) and Adam Ounas (11 %).
