Lucas Alexander, who was Jeka Saragih’s opponent at UFC Fight Night 232, admitted that he was confused by the behavior of netizens from Indonesia.
Alexander will duel with Jeka at UFC Fight Night 232 on Saturday (18/11) evening US time or Sunday (19/11) morning WIB. This fight will be Jeka Saragih’s debut in the UFC.
Since officially becoming Jeka’s opponent, the Brazilian fighter admitted that his social media accounts were invaded by netizens from Indonesia.
“My social media is full of people from [Indonesia] there. “I don’t understand what they are saying because I myself often have difficulty speaking English,” said Alexander, quoted from YouTube The Allstar, Thursday (16/11).
“There are lots of comments in Indonesian. Every time there is a comment, I always click on the translation and always do that. If possible, comment in English so I can understand better,” he added.
Alexander further emphasized that he did not care about the attacks from Indonesian netizens in the comments column. The 28-year-old fighter said he never gets caught up in other people’s comments in cyberspace.
On the one hand, he considers the enthusiastic behavior of Indonesian netizens natural, because for the first time there is the first Indonesian fighter to enter the UFC octagon.
“I don’t really care about comments. It makes me happier. Maybe Indonesians are very proud of it [Jeka Saragih] That. “Imagine there is the first fighter from your country in the UFC,” said Alexander.
“Maybe if I become the first fighter from Brazil, all countries will do the same. That’s why this is cool,” he explained.
Alexander is optimistic that he can make Jeka Saragih’s debut a nightmare for his opponent. He said he had intensive preparation since August as strong capital to overthrow Jeka in the arena.
“I’m focused on training camp since August. “I practice constantly, even when there are no batting practice sessions, I still practice,” said Alexander.
