Luca Marini Shines in United States MotoGP 2023 Practice 1, Outperforms Quartararo

Luca Marini become the fastest racer in practice 1 (P1) United States MotoGP 2023. Valentino Rossi’s half-brother outperformed Fabio Quartararo.

First training session United States MotoGP took place at the Circuit of the Americas, Texas, Friday (14/4/2023) evening WIB. Disaster befell Tech 3 KTM rider, Jonas Folger, at the start of the session.

Smoke was coming from Folger’s motor. The 29-year-old racer had to return to the pits.

Alex Marquez led 15 minutes of the running session. The Gresini Ducati rider recorded the fastest time of 2 minutes 4.222 seconds.

Jack Miller crashed at Turn 12. The Aussie was able to get back up and return to the pits.

Miller experienced disaster again after returning to the track. The KTM rider crashed again at Turn 12.

Turn 12 once again takes its toll. This time it was Marco Bezzecchi’s turn to fall.

Fabio Quartararo raced to first place with a time of 2 minutes 4.125 seconds. However, Luca Marini succeeded in shifting El Diablo and becoming the fastest in the United States MotoGP P1.

Marini recorded the fastest time of 2 minutes 3.250 seconds. He was 0.150 seconds ahead of Quartararo in second place.

Johann Zarco took third place, followed by Alex Marquez in fourth. Jack Miller and Jorge Martin were fifth and sixth respectively.

Francesco Bagnaia was seventh, followed by Maverick Vinales behind him. Takaaki Nakagami and Brad Binder make up the top 10 of the 2023 United States MotoGP P1.
