Valentino Rossi’s younger brother, Luca Marini, secures pole position in the 2023 Indonesian MotoGP
JUARA.NET – The 2023 MotoGP qualifying results show the extraordinary performance of Valentino Rossi’s younger brother, Luca Marini.
Qualifying session one (Q1) begins, a number of racers including the defending champion, Francesco Bagnaia, compete to be the fastest.
Pecco came out of the garage followed by Joan Mir and a number of other racers behind him.
One lap goes, the position of the fastest racer changes quickly.
Franco Morbidelli, Luca Marini and Johann Zarco took turns leading the lap time record.
When the drivers chose to return to the pits after two laps, Johann Zarco led with a lap time of 1 minute 30.713 seconds.
A few moments later, Bagnaia returned to the track first while followed by Joan Mir behind him.
Bagnaia’s efforts succeeded in surpassing Johann Zarco’s record.
Unfortunately, not long after that, Luca Marini overtook his record by a fraction of a second.
Bagnaia, who was in second place, then experienced something dramatic.
