EURO – It might be a meme for you, but for him it means a lot. Luca Loutenbach has embraced his new status as a digital icon on Twitter since his reactions during France-Switzerland did around the world.
On the platform, he now describes himself as “official Nati meme since 06.28.2021”, even if he assured Blick TV’s microphone that he was “just a normal fan” of the Euro-2021 and football.
“I’m still a fairly discreet person, even if that wasn’t seen too much in a match. Suddenly, it’s nice one or two days, but I hope that it will fall back a bit in some time ”, he also said on Swiss television.
This notoriety allowed him all the same to benefit from a ticket offered by the Swiss airline for Saint Petersburg, where Switzerland faces Spain in the quarterfinals on Friday.
He challenged her on Twitter to ask her if the trip could be offered to her given her new fame. “Contact us by private message and we’ll make your dream come true,” replied Swiss.
“While I had promised myself never to go on the networks … Here I am against my will!”, He laughs humorously on his brand new Instagram account: “the_swiss_super_fan”.
As reported The Parisian, the benefits don’t end there. The energy drink brand Red Bull contacted him, before he was approached by Switzerland Tourism, which promised him “a well-being weekend in Switzerland”.
