‘Luca Borsato has to say goodbye to his last name’

For years Luca has wanted to break through as a singer, but just when he knows exactly with which music he wants to achieve that, he is opposed on all sides.

Record companies, managers, producers: all took their hands off Luca Borsato. “Collaborations regarding my music came to a halt,” Marco’s eldest son wrote on Instagram last week. He also let it be known that he no longer wanted to hide because some people thought it was better for the situation.

Henny Huisman has some advice for Marco’s son. “He has to say goodbye to the name Borsato. It is better for him to take his mother’s name, or to act alone as Luca. A fantastic stage name: short and sweet. Of course, in the beginning he will still be seen as the son of, but when he releases good music he will get further with only Luca than as Luca Borsato. That’s how it works. Children of famous football players know this too. When they play well, they have their father’s talent. If they play badly, that well-known name is a burden. Luca will experience the same.’
