The Bremen Senate has decided to procure the Luca app. This is now announced by the Senator for Health, Women and Consumer Protection. Provided that the Deputation for Health and Consumer Protection as well as the Budget and Finance Committee give their consent, the solution can support the health authorities with digital contact tracking in the context of the corona pandemic. Other states, for example Saxony-Anhalt (we reported), want to introduce the solution across the board in the health authorities. “We expect digital documentation and tracking to enable us to identify more contacts and thus prevent infections,” explains Bremen’s Senator for Health, Claudia Bernhard. “A solution was and is important to us that can be used uniformly nationwide or at least supraregionally.” Nevertheless, Luca will not be the only application. “We also expressly welcome the use of other apps.
