General practitioner Maarten Goedhart of Studentarts from Groningen does little more than look for scabies. Since Monday he has had scabies consultations in the morning and again in the afternoon. He sees at least six patients per day, looking at them from head to toe with his special skin microscope. A fantastic thing, says Goedhart, that can magnify up to 200 times. He refers patients with other complaints to fellow GPs in the practice.
