Is what we are made of where we are, or is it a reflection of us? The audience’s favorite narrators will look for answers to these questions in the Latvian story program “TE!” in the new season. The program will invite you to explore Latvia, delving into the stories through the vertical of time – past, present and future.
Marta Selecka and Dace Salnāja will talk about the past and its reference to today in the section “HER! Was”. Māris Olte and Pauls Timrots will make an inventory of the present in the section “TE! Yes”, but we will look at the future together with Māra Sleja and Rihards Sniega in the section “TE! Būs”. Gustavs Terzens will connect the intersections of different times.
In the first show of the new season, Marta Seleck’s ships in the past, following the stories of Livu shore lighthouses, will stop at Miķeļbāja, Sīkrags lighthouse, as well as explain whether they have anything in common with Daugavgrīva lighthouse. Maris Olte will measure the present in a straight line from Kolka to Reņģe and look for an answer from the locals as to why Reņģe is Reņģe.

The curiosity roads of Māra Sleja will also lead to the amber shore. She will study what the future Livs will look like. But Gustav Terzen will look at where it is best to hide the rake and give the starting shots of the new season “TE!” rake photo hunt. The first rakes are already in their hiding places!

“YOU!” stories through a positive but real prism is a dialogue with the viewer, which promotes the activation of a sense of statehood and belonging, appreciation and respect for Latvia’s local resources, people and events. “TE!” Helps to build this dialogue. experienced and brave directors – Uģis Olte, Dainis Kļava, Oskars Miķelsons, Pauls Ķesteris and Katrīna Tomašicka.
