LTV gets the right to broadcast Latvian national basketball team matches in FIBA ​​tournaments

Associations of European Broadcasting Organizations and FIBAIN The agreement will allow fans across Europe to follow the most important competitions of men’s and women’s national basketball teams in the FIBA ​​World Cup, FIBA ​​European Championship, FIBA ​​World Cup​​​​​​ FIBA European Championship qualifications, as well as FIBA ​​Olympic qualifications.

In live broadcasts of major competitions, public media cover not only group matches, but also finals, semi-finals and finals, LTV.

The chief representative of the editorial office of LTV Sport, a member of the European Broadcasting Union’s Sports Committee, Dace Klagiša, expresses her satisfaction that the joint efforts of LTV and other European public broadcasters have succeeded in bringing this agreement to end

“This agreement will allow all viewers to watch live broadcasts of baseball games, game studios, interviews, behind-the-scenes and other original content produced by LTV without restrictions on platforms air and digital LTV,” says Klagiša.

The four-year agreement between the European Broadcasting Union and FIBA​​​​​​ provides for the presentation of national basketball games on the platforms of 19 member organizations in Belgium, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine.
