– It feels absolutely fantastic. We let in two goals in the first half and get an uphill, but I really noticed what attitude this team has. We noticed during the break that we were going to turn this around and it was fantastic that it went, says the Swedish new acquisition Nina Jakobsson, who won the match in the debut.

LSK Women’s ambition is to fight at the very top of the league and took command from the start, but after 34 minutes, Kolbotn defender Sara Hørte had already hit the ball in goal twice in an eminent way for last season’s table sixes.
The hosts had controlled the court game, but towards the break they lost control after the away team’s dead ball goals.
Coach Slatleim had obviously come up with an apt message before the second round because suddenly the rhythm was far better.
– It will be more exciting than we would like. During the break, we make some adjustments. We are so much better. It’s just a matter of time before we get a goal. And then the psychology in football is such that this is possible, says the LSK Women manager.
Kolbotn defended themselves for a long time both disciplined and well, but after 54 minutes Mia Authen narrowed in what would prove to be a very redemptive goal for the hosts.
The reduction is guaranteed to be difficult to beat in the selection of the round goal, and injected additional energy into the home team. Signe Holt Andersen had been active throughout the match from her offensive midfield position for the hosts and midway through the second half the Dane pulled herself nicely free on the edge before she let the ball flat in front of goal.
Inside the 16-meter line, Emma Stølen Godø came on a well-timed race for LSK Women and equalized with a brilliantly placed shot in the corner. At the position 2-2, Kolbotn fought to save one point, but it seemed as if a new goal was in the pipeline for “Birdsa”.
And with only 10 minutes left on the digital clock here in Romerike, the newly arrived Swedish spearhead Nina Jakobsson steered the winning goal from close range, which provided wonderful scenes of joy among the home team’s players.
– I do not know if I managed to think so much. I just saw the ball go in. It was a fantastic relief, says Jakobsson.
– It’s great to get Nina started. I think she fills the role as a play-off point very well, praises teammate Authen.
For Kolbotn coach Aleksander Olsen and his players, the mood was completely different after the match.
– I think we got the most out of it, from the point of view we have. We have been six or seven in training. Four of those who played today have not played 90 minutes earlier this winter, Olsen says to VG in this interview:

Reigning league champion Brann also spared nothing in this year’s first league game. Røa was beaten solid 5–2 in the capital. It was not the only Oslo-Bergen showdown in the league premiere: Lyn beat Arna-Bjørnar 2–1 on the West Coast. On Monday, the round ends with Vålerenga against Stabæk.
– LSK Women have been a top team for many, many years. It is clear that we want to be there again, says Jakobsson after the victory in round 1.
