Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) released a survey of the electability of presidential candidates (capres) entering the 2024 presidential election. In the 3-name simulation, Prabowo Subianto took first place with 34%, followed by Ganjar Pranowo with 30.4% and Anies Baswedan with 22%.
The survey was conducted on 18-20 September 2023 with 1,206 respondents. The survey was conducted by telephone and there were 17% that were not covered. The target population for the survey is Indonesian citizens aged 17 years or married.
Sample selection was carried out through random digit dialing (RDD). RDD is a technique for selecting samples through a random telephone number generation process.

The survey was conducted by telephone interview by trained interviewers. Margin of error ±2.9% with a confidence level of 95%.
LSI Executive Director Djayadi Hanan said Prabowo’s electability was in the top position in the 3-name simulation. However, said Djayadi, the difference between Prabowo and Ganjar is very small.
“Prabowo Subianto has a slight but statistically insignificant lead over Ganjar Pranowo, namely 34%, Ganjar Pranowo 30.4%, Anies 22%, so there hasn’t been much change in the level of support for these 3 names,” said Djyadi in LSI’s YouTube broadcast, Wednesday ( 4/10/2023).
The following is the LSI version of the simulated presidential candidate electability of 3 names:
-Prabowo Subianto 34.0%
-Reward Pranowo 30.4%
-Anies Baswedan 22.0%
TT/TJ 13.6%
