LPSK Refuses to Provide Protection to AG in David’s Persecution Case

The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) decided to reject the application for protection from a woman with the initials AG (15) in the case persecution to Cristalino David Ozora.

“We have decided to refuse,” said Deputy Chairman of the LPSK Susilaningtias when contacted, Tuesday (14/3).

However, Susi has not explained further about the reasons for the LPSK rejecting the protection proposed by AG.

“Refuse and provide recommendations,” he said.

On the other hand, it is known that the LPSK has accepted the application for protection submitted by witnesses N and R in this case. Both are parents of David’s friends who know about the persecution.

Susi said that the request for protection submitted by witnesses N and R was accepted because both of them were key witnesses.

It is known that the LPSK was also seen providing assistance to the two during the reconstruction process last Friday (10/3).

“(The key witness) was accepted and given protection,” he said.

David, who is the son of GP Ansor manager Jonathan Latumahina, was abused at the end of February.

The police have named Mario Dandy and Shane Lukas as suspects in this abuse case. Both have been detained at Polda Metro Jaya Detention Center.

Mario was charged with Article 355 of the Criminal Code paragraph 1, subsidiary of Article 354 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary 535 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary 351 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code. Investigators also charged Mario Article 76c Jo 80 Child Protection Law.

Meanwhile, Shane was charged with Article 355 paragraph 1 Jo Article 56 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary 354 paragraph 1 Jo 56 Criminal Code, subsidiary 353 paragraph 2 Jo 56 Criminal Code, subsidiary 351 paragraph 2 Jo 76c of the Child Protection Act.

Apart from that, the police have also increased the status of the woman with the initials AG in this case as a child in conflict with the law. Now, AG has been detained for seven days since Wednesday (8/3).

For his actions, AG was subject to Article 76c Jo Article 80 of the PPA Law and/or Article 355 paragraph 1 Jo Article 56 of the Criminal Code Subsidiary Article 354 paragraph 1 Jo 56 Subsidiary Criminal Code 353 paragraph 2 Jo Article 56 of the Criminal Code.

Most recently, the police have also carried out reconstruction at the Green Permata Housing Complex which was the crime scene of the persecution last Friday (10/3). A total of 40 scenes were exhibited in the reconstruction.
