Lowest Price 55-inch Grundig TV with Android TV – Lidl e-shop

A 55-inch Grundig TV and Android TV appeared on the Lidl e-shop
This is one of the cheapest TVs in its class
It can be purchased for 8,499 crowns

Although the Lidl e-shop does not offer as wide a selection of electronics as the leading Czech e-shops such as Alza or CZC, when a product appears here and there, it is usually at a relatively favorable price. A prime example is a television set GRUNDIG Smart TV 55″ 4K UHD, which offers an excellent price-performance ratio. Sure, it’s still a low-end TV, but it’s more than adequate for the average user.

We can start with the price right from the start. The TV will soon be available in the Lidl e-shop for 8,499 crowns. It is therefore one of the cheapest 55-inch TVs with Android on the Czech market. At the same time, it has a number of advantages compared to other systems, including openness and, last but not least, support for a bunch of applications that you won’t find anywhere else – for example Kodi.

The TV itself has 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) and supports standards such as HDR10 and HLG, but don’t expect miracles from the dynamic range, this is a regular TV with LED backlight. The Magic Fidelity algorithm takes care of the sound side, namely maintaining an even volume. You are probably well aware of the situation when you have a movie playing at the optimal volume, but it increases quite substantially during commercials.

Lidl isn’t very forthcoming about the TV’s specs, perhaps due to the fact that the TV isn’t in stock yet and the sign is lit up “In stock soon!”, so the description may be expanded. The performance of the speakers or the connectors remain a mystery. Here, however, one can expect some kind of standard, i.e. at least 2x HDMI (probably 2.0), Ethernet and USB.

Cena: 8,499 CZK

What do you say about the price/performance ratio of this TV?
