Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Sam Lowes win Moto2 Aragon 2020, Sunday (18/10), which was marked by two VR46 racers, Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi, fell. Marini was also displaced from the top of the Moto2 2020 standings.
Marini, who started the race from seventh position, was only able to complete four laps in the Moto2 Aragon. Valentino Rossi’s younger brother fell at turn 14.
After Marini fell, Bezzecchi led the race for a long time. Fabio Di Giannantonio overtook at ten, but the Italian rider crashed at turn two on the following lap.
Bezzecchi looks likely to grab Aragon’s Moto2 victory after overcoming Lowes’s pressure for the last two laps. However, Bezzecchi fell at the second corner and gave Lowes a deep lead over the rider in second place, which was over four seconds.
Lowes then won back-to-back after winning at the French MotoGP last week. The second podium is occupied by Enea Bastianini who beat Jorge Martin in the last lap.
Bastianini successfully displaced Marini from the top of the standings with a score of 155 points. Lowes moved up to second, two points adrift of Bastianini. While Marini is in third place with 150 points, followed by Bezzecchi with 130 points.
