Oldenburg (dpa / lni) – The police in Oldenburg are looking for an eight-year-old boy named Joe. The child was last seen on Friday afternoon in the area of the former Donnerschwee barracks, the police said on Sunday. The boy has an intellectual disability and could easily mistake the search for himself as a game. Therefore, according to the police, the search is supported with a rescue dog squadron and loudspeaker announcements. Possible whereabouts of the child are not known.
Joe is about 150 centimeters tall and slim. He has shoulder length dark curly hair. He wears a black vest, also with white writing, over a blue T-shirt with white writing. He is also wearing dark trousers and is probably barefoot. Police are asking anyone who has information about Joe or his whereabouts to call 0441 790 4115 or 110 for emergency services.
