Who will be crowned the winner of the Admiral State Cup this season? The new season in the football lower house will be kicked off at the weekend with Upper Austria’s cup competition. “The Admiral State Cup is an exciting and traditional competition for the entire state, which we as a partner of the sport will be very committed to supporting,” says Jürgen Irsigler, Managing Director of the new name sponsor of the State Cup, Admiral. 64 teams compete for a total prize money of 23,000 euros.
In addition to numerous derbies – such as the duels of the state league team Bad Wimsbach against Schwanenstadt or Gmunden against Gschwandt – there is also a premiere today: SPG Katsdorf welcomes state league rivals Schwertberg in their first competitive game as a syndicate.
