Lawrence English: Observation of respiration [Hallow Ground]
Room40 label composer and director Lawrence English turned to Charlemagne Palestine’s concept of “maximum minimalism” for his new album of organ compositions. He completed most of the project at the Old Museum in his hometown of Brisbane, Australia. The four-part album concludes with its 20-minute title piece.
