From the day after tomorrow (31st), victims of charter fraud who are using SGI Seoul Guarantee’s guarantee charter loan will also be able to receive a low-interest replacement loan from the Housing and Urban Fund.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that it would release SGI’s guarantee charter transfer loan, which was originally scheduled for July, one month earlier from the day after tomorrow (31st).
Re-exchange loan is a product that allows victims of charter fraud to transfer to a housing city fund loan at a low interest rate of 1.2 to 2.1% if they continue to live in an existing rental house.
SGI also decided to reduce the burden of victims by lowering the guarantee fee required for refinancing loans to 0.08%, half of the previous level.
SGI guarantee loans can be applied for at Woori Bank nationwide from the day after tomorrow (31st), and Kookmin Bank, Shinhan Bank, Hana Bank, and Nonghyup Bank will start operations sequentially after June when the computer system is completed.
Until now, in the case of victims of charter fraud, only users of Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) guarantee charter loans could apply for fund replacement loans, so there was a limit to victim support.
