“Low Intensity Tremor Shakes Westchester and New Jersey Residents”

A low intensity tremor shook the residents of Westchester, in New York City, early Friday morning.

The quake was also felt in some parts of New Jersey.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the tremor had a magnitude of 2.2.

The epicenter of the movement was detected in a nature reserve in the Yonkers area. and at a depth of 10.3 kilometers.

The tremor was felt at 2:00 am.

In social networks several area residents reported feeling unusual movement.

“The house was shaken and I don’t have any equipment that could cause that in the house, nor did any heavy trucks pass by,” user David Smith said on Twitter.

Other users reported feeling similar vibrations in the northern part of New Jersey.
