Brothers and sisters in Wedoro, Waru, Sidoarjo, East Java, were found die at the bottom of the well after an argument with a man who came to their house with romantic motives. A number of valuable items were lost.
The brothers are DV (20) and DC (12), the daughters of a married couple (couple) Ismanto and Riyanti.
Sidoarjo Police Chief Kombes Pol. Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro said the incident began when the perpetrator with the initials HE (25) came to the victim’s house on Monday (6/9) night. At that time, the perpetrator initially met with DC (sister). The two of them chatted in the house.
Before long, DV arrived at the house. The presence of HE apparently made DV unhappy. They also had a fight. In the midst of an argument, the perpetrator then suddenly strangled the victim.
“In the midst of an argument, the perpetrator suddenly strangled DV,” said Kusumo, Tuesday (7/9).
Seeing his brother being strangled, his younger brother, DC, took a knife from the kitchen. He did this to threaten the perpetrator to stop his treatment of his brother.
However, the perpetrator took the knife from DC’s hand and stabbed him. Instantly the victim fell. Seeing this, DV was hysterical. The suspect then smothered and strangled him to death.
The perpetrator then threw the bodies of the two victims who were already lifeless into the well behind the house. The goal is to remove traces.
After disposing of the victim’s body, the perpetrator actually had time to leave. He returned to the victim’s house and took a number of valuables, including a car belonging to the victim’s parents, laptop, cell phone.
“The motive was annoyed, unrequited love and control of the victim’s belongings,” said Kusumo, “The perpetrator took the victim’s parents’ car which was parked in the garage. After that, he ran away”.
One of the victim’s neighbors, Mustofa, admitted that he saw the car belonging to the victim’s family leave the house on Monday (6/9) night. At that time, he had not suspected.
“Monday after Isha [pukul 19.00 WIB]”I saw Pak Iswanto’s white car leaving the house,” said Mustofa.
