Love, jazz and New York at the Schlosspark Theater – BZ Berlin

Winter is finally (almost) over in Berlin. On the other hand, on the stage of the Schlosspark Theater (Schloßstraße 48) it is “Autumn in New York”! And BZ is giving away 8 x 2 tickets for next Monday (February 28th).

That’s what it’s about: the 1950s in New York. In the vibrant art scene, two young people meet – Dawn, an art student, and Francis, an heir by profession. The two are so different that a relationship seems impossible.

But they want to see each other again: in the legendary jazz club “Birdland” – every autumn in New York.

“It’s a mixture of theater and jazz concert,” says co-producer Philipp Hallenberger (35). Also present: the German voice of Benedict Cumberbatch (“Sherlock”) – Sascha Rotermund (47)! He plays the leading role: Francis. Dawn actress Nini Stadlmann (46) falls out on Monday because of her pregnancy. “But we found a fantastic replacement in Charlotte Heinke,” said Hallenberger.

Singer San Glaser (54) and her band ensure that there is really music in the piece. Hallenberger: “You are among the best jazz musicians in Germany.”

The musical theater piece is suitable for families. The co-producer: “The viewers can look forward to a mild feel-good autumn evening in New York.” From April the production will even go on a tour of Germany.

The event in the Schlosspark Theater takes place under 2G+ rules. FFP2 masks are mandatory.

Tickets are regular HERE from 15 euros or you are lucky!

The Klangbühne GbR is raffling off exclusively in the BZ 8 x 2 Theaterkarten for the performance “Autumn in New York” on February 28, 2022 at 8 p.m. in the Schlosspark Theater.

If you want to win, call on Thursday, 24.2. until midnight on Tel. 01379 – 030 883 (0.50 € / call from a German landline, mobile phone significantly more expensive!) and mention the keyword “theater”.
