On Monday evening, the stage was set for the premiere of the tenth season of the British “Love Island”, which is broadcast on ITV2.
The reality show involves five women and five men gathering in a luxurious villa. Pairs will be formed there, and everyone has a common goal; namely to find love.
Responding to the romance rumours
For Norwegian viewers, the new season of the British reality series will only be available on TV 2 Play on Monday next week.
Now the “Love Island” viewers rage on social media after the episode.
The TV viewers can, as every year, have an impact on the fate of the participants via an app. And already in the first episode, the audience has voted for which of the first ten participants will be in pairs, it is revealed in the episode.
Revealer: Used her
Now, however, several viewers claim that they never had the opportunity to vote for the couples.
“Was the public even aware of this vote?” asks one on Twitter, while another writes:
“Who is the public and when did we vote?”
“When did this public vote take place?” asks a third.
“Am I the only one who wasn’t aware of the vote?” adds a fourth.
On “Love Island’s” own Instagram account, you can certainly see that last week the channel encouraged viewers to vote for who should go together as a couple.
“You can decide the first five couples in the series. Come on, matchmaker! To vote for who will become a couple, head to the #LoveIsland app now.”
