It starts five weeks ago Love Islandadventure for Rowenna. Although she initially sets her sights on Job, everything changes when he chooses bombshell Esmee. After having been in a friendship with Morris for a while, Rowenna also finds love when Donny walks into the villa.
“At that moment I chose Job because he appealed to me the most about the boys in the villa, but in the end I am very happy that Donny walked in,” Rowenna laughs in front of the RTL Boulevard camera. “Because Morris and I soon found out that we were just mates. We had a lot of laughs with each other, but we did feel: this is real friendship. The attraction was just not there and it should certainly be there if you are a want to form a couple.”

Speaking of attraction, there’s no doubt about that between Rowenna and Donny. They hardly notice that they are seven years apart in age. “In the end it’s just about the feeling we have, that’s just right,” says Rowenna in love. “It is up to us to prove the contrary and we will certainly do that,” adds Donny.

In the Netherlands, the lovebirds hope to take the next step in their relationship. Rowenna: “Here you live in such a bubble, in the Netherlands we are going to find out how and what (…) We’ve already talked a lot about the future and in the Netherlands we will definitely continue to visit each other and especially date a little further. But we’re also going to meet each other’s parents, friends, have a nice dinner; those are really important elements to be able to do something. We’re just going to find that out and hope for a bright future.”
