Who knows where Lukáš Vaculík’s career would have gone if the director Jaroslav Soukup had not taken a liking to him and made him the star of several films aimed mainly at a young audience. After the role of the naughty apprentice in the film The Wind in the Pocket came another big acting opportunity.
In the 1980s, several successful films were created that literally amazed the audience that they passed the approval network and reached the audience. The films were supposed to show young people scary stories of young people, but they probably acted as a lure to a different, adventurous life.
V Love from the passage introduced the sympathetic window cleaner Pavel Kříž (Lukáš Vaculík) to the audience and literally popularized this profession. Pavel did not deviate from the characters of young people who were starting to live the life of adults and strongly doubted that they could ever afford a little luxury through honest work. Pavel also adapted and did not miss any opportunity to earn extra money. He did not advance much at work and spent his free time mostly in Prague’s arcades, bars and discos, where he had many acquaintances. He quickly developed from a petty conman into an experienced tipster working for a gang of thieves led by a young man nicknamed Roby (Marek Vašut).
One day, a part-time worker, Jana, joins the cleaning company, and Pavel puts her in charge to train her and show her how it works. The girl is very wary at first, but over time a fragile love relationship develops between the young people. However, it does not last long, and in order for the film to fulfill its purpose and bring lessons, Pavel’s lifestyle will lead to a tragic end. While fleeing from the Public Security, Pavel is hit by one of his former partners with a car.

And for Vaculík, it meant that this was not the last collaboration with Soukup. He cast his favorite again in the film Kamarád do dešte (1988), where Sagvan Tofi also joined him.
