Nestled in the bustling Midtown Manhattan district, this new address by the trunk maker extends over five levels, offering a unique dive into the Louis Vuitton universe. Like the New York skyscrapers, the design and scenography here are an ode to verticality and innovation.
The interior architecture, designed by Shohei Shigematsu of the famous OMA firm, notably reveals a monumental installation 16 meters high, made up of the brand’s historic trunks, symbols of its artisanal heritage.
At the heart of this shop, each floor showcases the house’s flagship collections, from iconic bags like the Keepall and the Speedy, to clothing and fashion accessories, including high jewelry creations, but also exclusive collections, available only at this New York address.
A unique culinary offering
Among the surprises of this conceptual space is a first in the United States: Café Louis Vuitton, a unique gastronomic destination combining café, library and restaurant. Located on the third floor, this place embodies a meeting between culture, culinary art and contemporary lifestyle.

Café Louis Vuitton is supervised by chefs Christophe Bellanca and Mary George, emerging talents on the New York scene, under the direction of French Michelin stars Arnaud Donckele and Maxime Frédéric.
Here, we are under the spell of neutral tones and noble materials reminiscent of Parisian interiors, while the shelves filled with books create an intimate atmosphere. The library, which has 650 carefully curated works, includes collaborative works with artists like Stephen Sprouse and Jeff Koons, as well as references to contemporary architecture, including Rem Koolhaas.
Experience-wise, visitors can choose between enjoying a dessert in a reading alcove, having a cocktail at the bar or enjoying a full meal in the main dining room. Between lobster ravioli delicately flavored with Mediterranean spices, a “Louis Paris” croque, or a decadent burger, everything is done to satisfy the most discerning palates. We will also note the ultra-gourmet desserts by Maxime Frédéric, such as the hazelnut dessert, for example.
To accompany these dishes, the Café also offers an exclusive chocolate factory where visitors can taste or take away gourmet creations by Louis Vuitton.
A true laboratory, this ephemeral space allows Louis Vuitton to explore new ways of interacting with its customers by combining fashion, art, culture and gastronomy. So, whether you are a sewing enthusiast, a design enthusiast or an epicurean looking for new flavors, this concept store is an invitation to discover the Louis Vuitton universe in a new light.
