Louis Moinet Studio was founded by Jean-Marie Schaller in 2004. The brand name comes from the legendary watchmaker Louis Moinet. The twelve meteorite fragments used on the dial are rare specimens, some originating from the moon and Mars, and some from meteorite showers and asteroids around the world.
