Paris, August 31, 2024 – Faced with the cries of compatriots living in France, the Ambassador of Haiti to France had an important working meeting with the CEO of Air Caraïbes, Christine Ourmières-Widener.
Chargé d’Affaires Louino Volcy took the opportunity to try to discuss the need to promote and market Haitian products on board Air Caraïbes flights.
He also presented the grievances expressed by the Haitian community in France against the airline.
Thus, the diplomat asked the official to take necessary measures to provide better treatment to Haitian compatriots during flights.
It should also be noted that a working meeting also took place between the Ambassador and members of the cultural sector of the Haitian Community in France, around the strengthening of the promotion of the cultural wealth of Haiti in this country.
