Lotte Vanwezemael became the victim of body shaming after ‘Dancing with the Stars’. “There was a storm about what my body looked like,” she recalls during De Warmste Week. “People commented about that, something that really didn’t help me. It’s really not okay to say things like that. ”

Fortunately, the sexologist also received many positive reactions, but realizes that this is not the case for all victims of body shaming. “Those positive reactions balance out those dirty comments, but a lot of young people don’t get those sweet reactions. So if you see someone reacting like this, you really shouldn’t just let it happen.
