Lots going on – Music Summer Night and new festival

Oberhausen. This weekend (23 to 25 August) there will be a series of open-air festivals in Oberhausen. Five tips for the city centre, the new centre and the north of the city.

Tip 1: For two days, the city centre resounds with music during the summer night

Enough of the words! Now the organizers of the 15th Music Summer Night in the city center of Oberhausen must follow up with actions. Seven live stages will entertain at the free festival from Saporischschja Square, Elsässer Strasse, Marktstrasse, Altmarkt to Friedensplatz. There will be cover rock, electronic sounds, jazz, pop and hits to listen to. The most famous bands are Time, Nockrock and Mr. Most Money Man.

This includes a visit to Café Cordes on Steinbrinkstrasse on Friday, August 23rd. “Crime novel meets city history” is the motto at the presentation of a new book. The organizers promise a small literary surprise with Peter Korte and cultural director Apostolos Tsalastras.
