Record jackpot for the lucky winner. A player won on Saturday night in the Loto draw a gain of 26 million euros, the largest ever awarded since the launch of this game in 1976, indicates the website of the Française des Jeux (FDJ).
A result obtained by playing the numbers 5-3-49-33-15 and the lucky number 8.
No details have been revealed on the identity or whereabouts of the record-breaking winner, who took the stake after twelve draws without a winner.
The previous record jackpot, amounting to 24,000,008 euros, was won in Sarcelles in June 2011, according to the FDJ. A sum that remains far from the record amounts won at the Euromillions, where winnings of 190 million euros have been won several times.
