It was 9:20 p.m. on Sunday March 27, 2022 when the gendarmes were called for an accident near Puymiclan. A 53-year-old motorist was driving through town when he crashed into a car parked on the side of the road.
Without insurance
If the driver showed no serious injuries when help arrived, he had to submit to a blood alcohol test. And this turned out to be positive. Indeed, the 50-year-old was driving with no less than 2.58 g of alcohol in his blood. Drunk, he was taken into custody.
To top it off, the motorist was driving without insurance.
