After the volcanic eruption in Iceland, which has been expected for weeks, a hundred helpers have been sent to the area to show stray holidaymakers the right way back. Hundreds of adventurers had walked as close as possible to the area. After all the selfies had been taken, the eight kilometer way back to the parking lot became difficult. Many lost their bearings.
As a result, the authorities sent flesh and blood signposts to the area. Their use was only short-lived, because the entire area around the volcano is now completely closed to pedestrians due to bad weather.
