It appears that a prototype of Meta’s new virtual reality (VR) headset, Quest Pro, emerged before it was even introduced. This doesn’t seem to please Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg at all. Meta’s new VR headset is expected to be unveiled on October 11th. However, the leak may have meant that the device was seen by millions of people before it was introduced.

The images that surfaced on the internet were posted by a person who claimed the device was left in a hotel room. The device in the images looks like the Project Cambria / Quest Pro title that Meta has been waiting for since the end of last year.
The image shows the person unpacking and encountering a black hood and controller that appears to have an updated design. There is also the “Meta Quest Pro” sticker placed in the upper left corner of the pack and a graphic showing the VR headset and controllers.
The device in question is said to be an example of engineering.
The images surfaced exactly one month before the Meta’s Connect event on October 11th. The Meta Quest Pro VR headset is expected to be featured during this event.
