LOSC’s complaint against X concerns the transfer of Victor Osimhen

The day after the raid which took place at the Domaine de Luchin, the Lille court confirmed the complaint against X of LOSC which takes place in October 2021. This is for a possible overvaluation of the Nigerian center-forward Victor Osimhen .

According to the website The Teamthe Lille Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed this Wednesday noon the filing of a complaint against X of LOSC in October 2021. This was following a report dating from April 2021 by Dogues auditors concerning a “possible overvaluation of Nigerian center-forward Victor Osimhen” sold for more than 70 million euros to Napoli in August 2020. The Lille Parquet said that “the investigations will continue with the study of the documents collected during the search carried out on Tuesday at the premises of the club in Camphin-en-Pévèle (North), within the framework of a preliminary investigation opened by the head of misuse of property social”.

In its press release confirming the complaint, LOSC then targets the former president of the club: “Following the internal audit carried out at the start of 2021 by the new club leaders, LOSC had filed a complaint against X in October 2021, considering that it was the victim of a certain number of contracts signed by the former direction “. Gérard Lopez, the person concerned, provided, through his lawyers, some details following the search on Tuesday, supporting that the management actions carried out by the management have always been approved by the whole club: “Contrary to the repeated insinuations of the management of LOSC, all of the management operations carried out by the management of the club under the presidency of Gérard Lopez, in particular those which would be covered by the complaint apparently lodged by the current management of the club, have always been approved by the shareholders, board of directors and general meeting, and appear in the certified accounts, states the press release. We can therefore only deplore, once again, the attempts at personal attacks against Gérard Lopez, directly targeted.

The club also announced that it “naturally collaborates in the procedure” and “its leaders are obviously at the full disposal of the police and justice in the context of this investigation”.
