Los Corralitos Art Walk: A Day of Cultural Exchange and Artistic Delights

Next Saturday, October 7, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., the traditional Los Corralitos Art Walk will take place on Mariquita Sánchez de Thompson Street (between San Martín and Severo del Castillo).

Families will once again be able to tour the circuit intended for cultural exchange and development with several stands displaying and selling artisanal products such as: vitrofusion, wooden and ceramic toys, chocolate, leather goods, footwear, fabrics, plants and clothing, and much more.

Within the Samples in the Sun cycle, Mónica González will present a work in real time. The musical show will be performed by Carlos Alcaraz, the Academia del Río ballet and the Cuyano Ensemble of the Tito Francia Guitar Orchestra, formed by Martín Morales, Marcos Ríos, Ismael Pelaia and Javier Lucero. The little ones will enjoy the play “Paco, Chicha and the Sorceresses.”

Mónica González was born in Mendoza, on July 8, 1966. She graduated from the Provincial School of Fine Arts and the Faculty of Arts and Design of the UNCuyo; She also carried out numerous trainings on art and artistic education.

From 2012 to 2016, he has participated in the Regional Biennial of Artistic Ceramics, held at UPLA-Chile. She also ventured into photography and his works were exhibited, for the first time, in the Blas Shopping art room with his group SinRollo. Since 2016, she has been part of the Art Salon for Blind People, obtaining a notable mention with her work Rising from the Ashes.

Currently, she creates, researches and transmits her knowledge inspired by ceramics and photography.

Schedule of the day:

10am: start of the Art Walk.

5 p.m.: Children’s play: “Paco, Chicha and the sorceresses”

6 p.m.: “Samples in the sun” cycle.

7:30 p.m.: Carlos Alcaraz.

8pm: Ballet Academia del Río.

8:30 p.m.: Cuyano Ensemble of the Tito Francia Guitar Orchestra.
