Real Madrid already holding a ticket to the last 16 of the Champions League. Madrid want to perfect it by qualifying as group winners.
Madrid currently leads Group D . standings Champions League with 12 points from five games. In second place, there is Inter Milan which collects 10 points.
Both teams have already ensured that they qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League. In the final match of the group phase, Madrid will host Inter at the Santiago Bernabeu, Wednesday (12/8/2021) early morning WIB.
Even though they have secured a place in the knockout phase, Madrid will continue to give their best. The group winner position is at stake in this match.
“As usual, we take our game seriously and with respect. Inter are a great team,” said the Madrid midfielder housemiro as reported AS.
“We will play for first place, we have to stay calm and respect the team we are facing. We know they are Italian champions and it will be difficult,” he said.
Real Madrid need at least a draw to lock up Group D champions. Meanwhile, Inter Milan must win over Madrid if they want to qualify as the top standings.
