The Angels –
Dennis Schröder started the preparation for the new NBA season with a win with the Los Angeles Lakers. The German national basketball player (27) and his new team won the first test match against the Los Angeles Clippers with 87:81 (43:46).
Schröder was in the starting lineup of the master and came to ten points, four rebounds and one assist in his 24 minutes of play. Schröder had come from Oklahoma City as part of an exchange deal and wants to continue to gain playful class alongside the superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
The NBA starts the new season with the Clippers’ city duel against the Lakers as the highlight of the first evening. Right before the game, the Golden State Warriors will clash against the Brooklyn Nets on December 22nd. Due to the corona pandemic, the season in the world’s strongest basketball league will be shortened to 72 games per team. (dpa)
