The president of the Los Angeles Regional Medical College, Dr. Luis Medina, expressed his condolences at the death of Dr. Carlos Grant del Rio, director of the Concepción Health Service, as a result of various complications due to Covid 19.
Dr. Medina indicated that “with deep regret we have learned of the sensitive death of Dr. Carlos Grant, an outstanding professional and teacher at the University of Concepción, who was the director of the Concepción Health Service.”
The president of Los Angeles Medical College also added that “for this reason we want to express our condolences to his family, friends and co-workers. Dear Dr. Grant, rest in peace ”, concluded Medina.
Recall that Dr. Carlos Grant, director of the Concepción Health Service, died this Sunday morning at 11:15 a.m. at age 64 as a result of complications from Covid 19, which kept him 36 days connected to mechanical ventilation in the intensive care unit of the Guillermo Grant Benavente Hospital in Concepción.
