Playing at the Staples Center, Tuesday (25/4/2023) morning WIB, the Lakers led 29-23 in the first quarter, but the Grizzlies then won 29-25 in the second quarter, leaving the Lakers only 54-52 ahead in the first half.

The Lakers continued to maintain their lead until 66-64, but the Grizzlies soon overtook 68-66, and continued to lead until closing the third quarter with a score of 83-81. In the fourth quarter, the score was tight between the two teams again.

The Lakers, who were trailing 90-97, turned ahead 99-97 through three D’Angelo Russell triple shots. But the Grizzlies rallied to take a 104-102 lead with 6.1 seconds left in the game. LeBron James equalized the score 104-104, forcing the match to go into extra time.
