The Los Angeles Clippers recovered well from their loss to the Dallas Mavericks (105-89) on Wednesday, and the Charlotte Hornets paid the price (125-98), three days later. As was the case for Philadelphia against Sacramento (129-105) on Saturday, there was no game between the Californians and the North Carolina franchise.

Revenge of Memphis
Friday, the Golden State Warriors had won on the floor of the Memphis Grizzlies (116-103). But, the franchise of Tennessee has already taken revenge and disposed of Californians (111-103). Although appearing on the scoresheet, Stephen Curry did not play, as had already been the case the day before, with a tailbone injury.

The two teams have hardly ever left each other to score. 50 seconds from the end of the match, Memphis broke away (107-100) on a shot from Ja Morant. Jordan Poole then closed the gap with a three-point shot. But a series of free throws from Morant and Dillon Brooks ultimately secured the Grizzlies’ lead.

Memphis won thanks to a well-knit collective (19 points for Brooks and Valanciunas, 16 for Clarke, 15 for Bane, 14 for Morant and 13 for Anderson). Killian Tillie did not come in. On the Golden State side, Poole was the game’s leading scorer with 26 points.
