Lorry Overturns on E6 in Trøndelag, Driver Pronounced Dead at the Scene

The driver of the lorry was pronounced dead at the scene after a lorry overturned on the E6 in Trøndelag. The road is closed in both directions.

Traffic is at a standstill in both directions after a lorry overturned on the E6 in Vuddudalen. It is a tank truck with adhesive for the asphalt industry.

The accident was initially described as serious and the driver of the lorry was declared dead by a doctor at the scene. There have been no other vehicles involved in the accident.

Relatives have been notified of the death.

– It is a single accident. There are no other road users involved. We do not know what caused the truck to get into the accident. An autopsy will be carried out on the deceased and witness interviews, says operations manager Ebbe Kimo in Trøndelag police district.

The road is blocked in both directions and will be closed for several hours. Traffic chaos has been reported and the car can now turn around.
